Liebherr for Argentina
Argentinian crane rental company Gruas Londres has taken delivery of a 200 tonne Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1 All Terrain crane.
The five axle machine comes with a 72 metre main boom and a bi-fold swingaway extension. It has been specified with Liebherr's Variobase outrigger set up system, which was a major reason for Gruas Londres selecting the crane. The 1200-5.1 will be used for the construction and maintenance of refineries and chemical plants.

Alberto Szakalicki, Gruas Londres managing director said: "To date a 90 tonner was our largest mobile crane. The LTM 1200-5.1 expands the capacity of our crane fleet significantly upwards so that we can now handle work which was previously not possible. The Liebherr five axle crane is very manoeuvrable and therefore perfect for the constricted conditions we find in petrochemical plants. Liebherr cranes are very reliable and powerful. Liebherr also provides excellent service even in Argentina and we also have very good personal contact with the Liebherr team."
Gruas Londres has been operating for 38 years, employs 12, and currently has seven cranes with capacities from 23 to 200 tonnes.
