Two 300 tonners for Taiwan
Taiwan-based crane and heavy haulage contractor Chi Deh has added two 300 tonne capacity Liebherr LTM 1300-6.2 All Terrain cranes to its fleet, replacing two older LTM 1300-6.1s.
The new LTM 1300-6.2 uses a single-engine and features ECO mode and the VarioBase outrigger set up system. The crane's 78 metre main boom and luffing jib were the main reasons for buying the new six axle cranes.
Company owner Han-Yen Hu said: "The older cranes were still ideal for certain jobs, but were no longer state of the art. We decided on the LTM 1300-6.2 because of its high quality, modern technology and flexible boom systems,” he said. “The telescopic boom is very long at 78 metres and with its luffing jib up to 70 metres long, the mobile crane can cover a massive working range."
