Snorkel A38E for Dromad

Irish general rental company Dromad Hire has taken delivery of two new 38ft Snorkel A38E articulated boom lifts.

Dromad, which operates from a base in Dundalk, County Louth, placed the order for the new boom lifts with Snorkel UK at Vertikal Days last month. The A38E offers a maximum working height of 13.5 metres, up to 5.9 metres of outreach and a platform capacity of 215kg. Overall width is 1.5 metres and the total weight 3.7 tonnes.

Dromad’s managing director Seamus Byrne said: “We have been running Snorkel A38E’s in our fleet now for some time, so the machine is already proven to us. Snorkel UK provide us with excellent backup and support so this made our decision a very easy one. The A38E extends our product offering in electric boom lifts, which are increasingly in demand from our customers particularly for indoor use.”
