Sennebogens for Algeria

Algerian bridge and road contractor Sapta (Société Algérienne des Ponts et Travaux d’Art) has taken delivery of four Sennebogen crawler cranes for a bridge project near Algiers.

The project includes is one of many bridges being built for Algiers second ring road


The four cranes include a 120 tonne 6113 telescopic, with a 42 metre main boom plus an eight to 15 metre offset able extension which gives a maximum tip height of 58 metres,an 80 tonne 683 telescopic with a 42 metre boom, and two 80 tonne 2200 lattice crawler cranes with full 59.7 metre of boom.

The cranes are being used for a variety of lifting duties, including the handling of large structural parts up to 40 metres in length and weighing up to 60 tonnes. The cranes are being maintained by Sennebogen’s after sales agent - crane service and training company Eurl SM Maintenance, which also holds a stock of replacement parts for these cranes.
