Tree trimmer electrocuted
A man trimming trees in Tolga, to the west of Cairns in Queensland, Australia died earlier today when the aerial work platform he was working from came into contact with overhead power lines.
The man, 29, had the full force of a 22,000 volt electric shock, he was treated by Queensland Ambulance Service at the scene but was pronounced dead shortly after their arrival. The Queensland Workplace Health and Safety has been informed and will be investigating the causes of the incident.
