New Kato for McGovern

UK rental company McGovern Crane Hire has added a 13 tonne Kato CR-130Ri city-type All Terrain crane to its fleet from distributor Rivertek Services.

McGovern has a fleet of mobile cranes ranging from 40 to 220 tonnes capacity but decided to add the 13 tonner and enter the smaller capacity market. The CR-130Ri has a 24 metre, six section boom with a two stage, 3.6 to 5.5 metre hydraulic jib.

“We have run Kato Cranes in the past and they have proven to be reliable,” said Eddie McGovern. “We have also dealt with Rivertek over the years and this made our decision to invest very easy. We are looking forward to running this crane and seeing its capabilities.”
