Big PB Rough Terrains for Lifterz
UK based access rental company Lifterz has taken delivery of its first 67ft PB 225-24DS 4x4 Rough Terrain scissor lift.
The company already runs a fleet of 67ft battery powered narrow aisle PB 225-12S scissor lift, but felt that the time was right to add several models of its wider diesel powered sister machine to the fleet. The 225-24D has an overall width of 2.47 metres and a maximum platform capacity of 750kg. Including the 2.7 metre roll out extension which increases the length of the work platform to 7.2 metres. The unit is powered by Deutz and has an overall weight of just over 12 tonnes including standard auto-set levelling jacks. Deliveries are phased through August and September.

Joint managing director Benjamin Bowers said: “The initial units are already booked for customer projects and will be tied up for the foreseeable future. looking at the demand we have I don’t expect to see them in our yard very often.”
Alan Russon of PB-UK Direct added: “PB Lift has recently announced significant expansion to the production facility in Germany which should bring down the lead times significantly.”
Lifterz runs a fleet of 950 platforms from three locations and in recent years has focused more of its efforts on the high reach/ drive at full height, scissor lift market.
