More Haulotte HA41s for Turkish Technic

Turkish Technic – the Turkish Airlines Maintenance Centre, responsible for all maintenance, repair and overhaul of the Turkish Airline fleet, has taken delivery of two more 128ft Haulotte HA41RTJ Pro articulated boom lifts from Haulotte distributor Acarlar Makine.

The latest purchase takes the Turkish Techinc fleet of Haullotte platforms to 46 units. The fleet is a mixture of Haulotte models, including scissors lifts, telescopic and articulated booms, all of which are employed in a various range of maintenance applications in the hangars. The HA41RTJ is used to reach the highest maintenance and cleaning work inside and outside the 36 metre high hangars, as well as work on the aircraft, additional equipment included bumper pads on the platform, along with full operator and maintenance training provided by Acarlar Makine.

Turkish Technic also provides services to other foreign and domestic airlines at Ataturk and Sabiha Gokcen airports in Istanbul and at Esenboga Airport in Ankara.

Acarlar general manager Serkan Acar said: “Turkish Technic has purchased a lot of Haulotte heavy duty scissors for the aircraft maintenance and several Haulotte big booms for the maintenance of the high ceilings inside the hangars. Because of the importance of maintenance services which need extremely meticulous work, high performance machines are essential to finish the work efficiently and on the exact required timing. That is why we supplied the new HA41RTJ Pro units for all three airports. They need these high access machines for the maintenance of electricity, ventilation and ceiling which is 36 metre high buildings.
