New premises for Felbermayr

Austrian heavy lift and transport company Felbermayr has opened a new 40,000 square metre location in Sulzemoos, Germany.

The new premises are located in Dachau, Munich, around 250 guests attended the opening ceremony, including customers and partners and employees. The new depot will provide a base for its special transport, industrial installations, Wimmer machinery transport and Hagn-Environmental subsidiaries. The facility includes around 10,000 square metres of office, warehouse and workshop space plus the yard.

Felbermayr managing director Wolfgang Schellerer said: "The development of Wimmer since the takeover five years ago is impressive, but also is a model for many other successful areas."

Holger Stegmann of Wimmer added: "Here we have ideal conditions to best meet the requirements of our customers."
