Heli acquires High and Safe

Heli, the Belgian crane and access distributor and rental company has acquired suspended access, hoist and scaffold sales and rental company High and Safe.

High & Safe was established in 2003 and is based in Boom to the south of Antwerp and within half an hour of Brussels. The company operates on a national level, and offers suspended platforms, hoists, and alloy façade scaffold and access towers. It represents SkyClimber, Protecta and Skyworks among others.

No details of the transaction have been released, but High and Safe will become part of the Heli Equipment. Heli Equipment sales manager Bart Cooman said:

“This acquisition strengthens our position in the area of safe work at height installations and brings a great deal of additional expertise in the area of working at height. The values and principles of the two companies are complimentary with a strong priority on the safety of our customer’s personnel.
