First German Z-60/37FEs for Lindig

German rental company Lindig Fördertechnik has taken delivery of three new 60ft Genie Z-60/37FE hybrid boom lifts, the first company in Germany to purchase the new model.

The Z-60/37FE diesel/battery electric boom lift with four wheel direct AC electric drive, was unveiled at the ARA in February. The new machine offers 11.14 metres of outreach, 7.4 metres of up-and-over clearance, 135 degrees of jib articulation and a new tri-entry platform.

Lindig's new 60ft Genie Z-60/37FE hybrid

Lindig powered access manager Christina Eckenfelder said: "The demand for low-emission machines in the 20 metre working height range was getting bigger so we had to react. The hybrid technology on the Genie Z-60/37FE seemed very promising. This concept is completely new on work platforms, but since we have confidence in Genie and are convinced by the equipment, we had no hesitation in investing in these machines."
