New facility for Mtandt
Indian work at height specialist Mtandt is to open a new scaffold manufacturing and aerial lift refurbishment facility.
The company is expecting to invest around $100 million over the next two years to set up the facility, which will produce Aardwolf scaffolds and PortaDeck portable trackways and provide rebuilds and refurbishment services for its 1,000 unit aerial lift fleet.
Founded in 1974 as an access rental company, Mtandt also represents Dingli, Co.Me.t - Comet if you prefer, Versalift, Ommelift and PM group.

Executive director Gopal Modi said: “We will be setting up a state of the art production facility for manufacturing PortaDeck portable road, Aardwolf No Limit unlimited scaffolding solution and will scale up production of Aardwolf Quickfit mobile aluminium scaffoldings, to meet increasing demand. After seeing the result of the first two quarters we expect to continue to grow at better rates than the rest of the market.”

Mtandt Rental president Sanjay Khanna added: “We will be enhancing our rental fleet inventory by bringing in more new machines to keep the fleet young and give contractors access to the most modern, safe and environmentally friendly equipment without the capital outlay."
