Liebherrs to Buenos Aires
Argentinean crane rental company Grúas Moviles Mix has taken delivery of two Liebherr All Terrain cranes, a 50 tonne LTC 1050-3.1 and a 130 tonne LTM 1130-5.1.
The LTC 1050-3.1 city type crane has a 36 metre main boom and a 13 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, allowing it to lift to 48 metres and maximum working radius of 39 metres. The three axle crane also comes with Liebherr’s Variobase outrigger set up system. The five axle LTM 1130-5.1 is a used crane, and features a 60 metre main boom plus 33 metre bi-fold swing away extension.
Managing director Elida Mirta Emiliozzi said: "We already have an LTM 1070/1 and an LTM 1100/1 from Liebherr in our fleet. The experience we have with both machines has been more than satisfactory. Our employees are extremely satisfied with the user-friendly and comfortable handling of Liebherr mobile cranes. That is why we decided to buy two more mobile cranes from Liebherr."

Sebastián Alejo Fernández of Grúas Moviles Mix added: "This LTC 1050-3.1 meets our need to update our crane fleet in full. We ordered the crane with the lift cabin which gives the crane driver an excellent view of the site situation."
Grúas Moviles Mix runs a crane fleet with capacities from seven to 150 tonnes and employs 12.
