GGR takes first Intelli-Grip vacuum lifters

UK based spider/pick & carry crane and glass handling equipment specialist GGR has taken delivery of two vacuum lifters, the first to feature the new Intelli-Grip safety system.

The new vacuum lifters manufactured by Woods-Powr Grip in the USA, have a maximum capacity of 320kg, and are the first units to be delivered worldwide. The Intelli-Grip technology monitors vacuum lifters in real-time by performing multiple diagnostics and communicating the data live to the operator via a monitor, and can be transmitted to a remote location. This allows the operator to monitor leak rate, battery life and the current lifter mode in use, but also serves as an ongoing diagnostic system for the use of the equipment.
