Another Liebherr for Marsh

UK based crane and telehandler rental company Marsh Plant has taken delivery of a 60 tonne Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1 All Terrain crane.

The three axle LTM 1060-3.1 features a five section 48 metre main boom and a 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, providing a maximum tip height of 67 metres and a maximum radius of 48 metres. The crane is also able to carry 12.8 tonnes of counterweight within the UK’s 16 tonne STGO axle loadings. This purchase brings Marsh's number of LTM 1060-3.1 cranes in its fleet to five.

Managing director Andy Honeywell said: “We continue to be impressed with the specification of this model and the inclusion of VarioBase is an added plus. Having run four of these units in our fleet for a year or so we have now been able to fully evaluate them from a service perspective. They are proving extremely reliable and therefore achieving a good financial return on investment. The Liebherr product is popular with our operators and clients alike and we are currently discussing additional units for delivery this year.”
