Demag upgrades 500 tonner

Terex Cranes has upgraded its 500 tonne Demag AC 500-8 All Terrain crane. The latest version now complies with US Tier 4 emission standards and includes
the addition of the IC-1 Plus control system which allows each of the crane’s outriggers to be set in any position, monitored and fed into the control system, where a load chart is configured to match. The system is particularly useful when working with reduced outrigger settings and reduced counterweight.

Terex Cranes has upgraded its 500 tonne Demag AC 500-8 All Terrain crane

Dimensionally, the crane remains unchanged - the carrier length is 17.1 metres which Terex claims is the most compact eight-axle machine in its class. Maximum system length is 145.8 metres. The first order from the USA has already been placed to be delivered in the summer.
