Five Unics for Duma

Belgian rental company Duma Rent has taken delivery of five Unic spider cranes, including two six tonne URW 706-2s, two 2.9 tonne URW 295s and one 2.9 tonne Eco-295 spider crane.

The new deliveries bring the total Unic cranes in Duma's fleet to 12. The 750mm wide Eco spider crane has gone straight to work on a lifting project at Flanders International Airport in Kortrijk.

GGR chief executive Graeme Riley said: “It’s fantastic to see companies across Europe significantly growing their spider crane fleets. The demand for these specialised cranes, to lift in some of the most compact and challenging environments has never been higher. We are delighted to have been able to support Duma Rent with their continued business growth in the machine rental sector. As the market leader for specialist lifting solutions, with the biggest fleet and the largest capacity equipment for sale, we were the natural choice for them.”

Based in Kortrijk, north west Belgium, Duma Rent has depots in both Belgium and France. It rents out aerial work platforms, telehandlers and forklifts from companies such as Manitou, JLG, Genie, Teupen and Terex.
