The Rental show opens today

The American Rental Association’s Rental Show opens later today in Orlando, Florida.

The event kicks off this morning with an address from chat show host/comedian Jay Leno at 8:00 with the Rental show itself opening at 10:00. The Vertikal Press will be reporting from the event both on twitter and Vertikal.net.

The carpet goes out at the entrance to this year's rental show

Expect a number of new product launches such as the new 85ft Skyjack SJ85AJ while Genie is officially launching its new XC range of boom lifts, with the SX135XC on show.
The prize for oldest product on display will certainly be the very first Snorkel boom lift, the TB42 which was launched at the Chicago Plant Engineering and Maintenance Show in 1977. That very first unit has now been fully restored to its original condition and will be at the show.

The new Skyjack SJ85AJ

JLG may have a surprise or two for us, including an all new operator training programme while Snorkel is unveiling a line of material lifts.
Haulotte has its new AC direct electric drive models, along with the production version of its new 65ft trailer lift and perhaps its new 85ft straight boom. Many companies have held new product launches for launch at Conexpo which is just next week.
