Kalmars for Hamburg port
German logistics and transport company Hamburger Hafen und Logistik has ordered 11 Kalmar diesel-electric straddle carriers.
The straddle carriers have a lift capacity of up to 60 tonnes and can stack containers up to four high. The new units will operate at the Burchardkai container terminal in the Port of Hamburg, to transport containers from the port's ship to shore cranes.
