Liebherr opens Argentina base
Liebherr-Argentina has opened new offices in Buenos Aires as part of a major expansion programme.
The move is part of a strategy to step up its activities in both Argentina and Uruguay, primarily with All Terrain cranes and port and harbour cranes and mining related equipment. The 314 square metres of office space is located in the heart of the Argentinian capital and will house 17 employees, 11 of them supporting the port and harbour crane market, and four responsible for All Terrain cranes. The new office will also take over the entire sales and service activities for Liebherr All Terrain cranes in Uruguay.

The new facility will mostly focus on port and harbour cranes
Managing director Daniel Haag said: "My greatest wish is that this new office becomes too small very quickly. We are optimistic about the future and are expecting further growth in Argentina and the neighbouring countries we look after from here."
