Second Liebherr for McGovern

UK rental company McGovern Crane Hire has taken delivery of a 60 tonne Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1 All Terrain crane, and ordered an MK88 Plus mobile self-erecting tower crane.

The three axle LTM 1060-3.1 features a five section 48 metre main boom and a 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, providing a maximum tip height of 67 metres and a maximum radius of 48 metres. The crane is also able to travel in the UK with all 12.8 tonnes of counterweight on board. McGovern has also specified its machine with the wireless remote control option, meaning that all crane motions can be controlled from outside the cab.

Contract lifting manager Kieran McGovern said: "We are very happy to be receiving our second new Liebherr crane.
