The new crane was handed over to Kawelke general manager Jürgen Kawelke, his mother Ellen and sister Regine at the company’s premises in Bobenheim-Roxheim by Michael Ziegler of Terex Cranes.
Jürgen Kawelke said: “The whole concept behind the innovative IC-1 Plus control system is what really sold us on the crane, as it makes it possible to always get the maximum available lifting capacity even when using asymmetrical or small outrigger setups. This crucial advantage is achieved by means of a real-time lifting capacity calculation that also makes it possible to perform lifts in the crane’s upper lifting capacity range with the smallest possible counterweight. Ultimately, this means that we get increased versatility while at the same time reducing transportation costs.”
