Kato Cranes spare parts in the UK

Kranlyft UK has issued a statement to clarify the current situation regarding spare parts for Kato Cranes in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Kranlyft was the Kato Cranes distributor for the UK and Ireland, selling cranes until about 2000 when Kato ran into European engine homologation issues. Rivertek Services was appointed European distributor for Kato cranes towards the end of 2015.

Last year Kranlyft UK signed a new contract with Kato to sell spare parts for the previous older model ranges manufactured by Kato works Japan. Kranlyft says it holds extensive stocks at its Avonmouth facility.

All new Kato crane models sold by Rivertek Services will be supported by Rivertek from its new premises in Burntwood near Cannock.
