Liebherr Australia adds maritime cranes
Liebherr Australia has taken over the distribution of its maritime cranes for Australia, New Zealand and Oceania.
Liebherr Australia has taken over the distribution of Liebherr mobile harbour cranes and reachstackers from Morrow Australia, which has represented these products in Australia for the past 27 years. Morrow will now focus solely on the sale and rental of Liebherr tower cranes.

The Liebherr maritime sales division will be based at the Sydney office
Liebherr began operating in Australia in the early 1970s, incorporated its first company in 1981 and opened its first premises in Kilkenny, Adelaide in 1983. Since then company has expanded at a steady pace and now operates from eight locations in Australia and three in New Zealand. The business already distributes Liebherr mobile and duty cycle cranes, along with earthmoving and mining equipment. In 2015 a regional maritime crane office was established at the company’s premises in Sydney and with this latest move it will also handle all sales, parts, service and support.
The new business will be managed by Gordon Clark - currently sales director at Liebherr Martime in Rostock, Germany. Clark began his career at Liebherr Great Britain in 1991 as assistant to the managing director, was promoted to division manager for the company in both Africa and the Middle East before moving to Germany.

As part of the agreement with Morrow, Liebherr Australia has employed Morrow's maritime service manager Kalman Kis.
