First Unic URW-706-2 for UK

UK rental company Coppard Plant Hire has taken delivery of the first new six tonne, second generation Unic URW-706-2 spider crane to arrive in the UK. The company also purchased a regular URW-706.

The 706-2 is based on the standard URW-706 model, but features a new hydraulic searcher hook,ans two section telescopic luffing jib that can offset up to 60 degrees, providing a maximum hook height of 26 metres, and three metres more working radius. The cranes can be operated from either the operator’s seat or via a remote controller.

Director Keaten Coppard said: “We are very pleased to take delivery of these two cranes especially the 706-2 which I feel is a marked improvement on an already outstanding crane”.
