Nesco acquires Bethea
US based utility equipment rental company Nesco has acquired Bethea Tool and Equipment which manufacturers handline, stringing and bundle blocks and similar products used by electrical utilities and contractors. The acquisition includes Bethea’s 5,600 square metre manufacturing facility and distribution centre in Brighton, Tennessee.
The acquired business will become part of Nesco’s UEO (Utility Equipment Outfitters) division, which provides block rentals, as well as new and used parts, tools, and accessories to utility, rail, communication, and other specialised industries throughout North America. The acquisition will increase the three year old division’s ability to offer engineered and custom designed products. It will also continue to offer service, support, and repair of all Bethea products. The new location provides 60,000 square feet of warehouse and service space.
