Multitel MS100 catches on
Italian truck mount and spider lift manufacturer Multitel Pagliero, is to promote its big deck MS100 model over a wider area.
Multitel has stated that its big deck truck mounted platform the MS100 has been selling well this year in parts of continental Europe, to the point where it has decided to launch it over a wider geographic area.

The MS100 is mounted on a 3.5 tonne chassis
Initially designed with tunnel repair, construction and maintenance in mind, it has found that a much wider range of end users appreciate the large platform, and that in some areas it is doing work normally carried out by Rough Terrain scissor lifts, particularly where the work is likely to take less than a day. The next market the company is targeting with this model is the UK, with distributor Access Industry set to kick off a demonstration road show, that is due to run for two or three weeks, depending on demand for further demo stops.

The Multitel MS100 working free on wheels
The unit can be operated free on wheels, with a working height of up to six metres, this increases to 10 metres on outriggers which set up in board. The 3.5 by 1.8 metre platform has a 400kg platform capacity, has 500mm of side traverse capability, and when operating on wheels can be driven while elevated. An aviation kit is apparently proving popular.
