New CEO for LEEA
The UK based Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) has appointed Ross Moloney as chief executive, Paul Fulcher as chairman and Kat Moss as chairman of the learning and development committee.
Moloney has been chief executive at FireDog Research - a research, marketing and communications agency - since it was established in 2014. He was previously chief executive of Skills For Logistics, having joined the organisation as deputy chief executive in early 2009. Prior to that he spent four years as a senior special economic advisor at the UK Commission for Employment & Skills
(UKCES).
He started out as a researcher with Nottinghamshire County Council in 1999, before moving to a similar role at the Economic and Social Research Council, eventually becoming a lecturer at the University of Birmingham and then Nottingham.
Moloney said: “I am honoured to be leading LEEA into its next phase of growth and excited to be working with the board and the association’s dedicated staff. I look forward to meeting our valued members over the coming weeks and months.”
Fulcher, managing director of Rigging Services, has been a member of the board for 20 years and was previously chairman from 2001 to 2003. He takes over from Oliver Auston who has completed his two year tenure.
Fulcher said: “I am excited to be back in the role as chairman of the association especially during this time of change and global re-organisation of LEEA’s member services which will be the focus for 2018. I am particularly pleased to be working alongside a talented, united and strong board of directors, also to be working with Ross in his new role as chief executive. Ross brings a wealth of experience in skills development, senior leadership and employer representation.”

Moss has been a board member for two years, and is the business development and quality assurance manager for Catena, a position she has held since 2010.
