Lifting Gear Hire joins LEEA
UK based Lifting Gear Hire (LGH) has become a full member of the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) and achieved the latest ISO 9001 accreditation.
LEEA offers four categories of membership—provisional, associate, development, and full. LGH relaunched in the UK following a 10 year absence and was initially a development member, moving to full status after completing 12 months of trading and a full audit. In September it acquired the UK rental division of German industrial hoist and crane manufacturer JD Neuhaus -

Lifting Gear Hire commercial manager Phil Smith said: “If you want to be regarded as a serious player in the lifting market, being a fully-fledged LEEA member is vital. The organisation provides members with advice and support on virtually any topic concerning lifting, which is simply not available elsewhere. Given the nature of our product range customers expect us to have the latest 2015 specification of ISO 9001. Achieving it involved a complete review of our processes and systems, and documentation of findings in a quality management system.”

Additional commercial vehicles have also been acquired amid ongoing investment in our rental fleet.”
