CPA seminar at Vertikal Days

The Construction Plant-hire Association (CPA) is hosting an open seminar at Donington Park on Wednesday 16th May, the first day of the Vertikal Days.

Anybody interested in being updated on operational, technical and training issues affecting lifting equipment and aerial lifts are invited to attend. The seminar will be held in the Senna Suite at Donington Park from 10:30 - 13:00.

A number of key issues relating to the sector will be discussed, including a voluntary MOT scheme for cranes, changes to the GLA LEZ emission standards for mobile cranes, the new Lifting Technician Apprenticeship, and the implications of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) on the sector.

Confirmed speakers so far include CPA director Kevin Minton, technical consultant Tim Watson, CPA legal manager David Smith and technical manager Peter Brown. There will also be representation from the Health & Safety Executive.
