Mammoet signs maritime partnership
Mammoet is to join the PortXL partnership, which labels itself as 'the world's first port and maritime accelerator'.
In its own words it is a partnership of "corporate partners and mentors who are change makers, creative thinkers and problem solvers that work collaboratively to disrupt the status quo and cultivate a spirit of innovation within the global maritime industry."
Established in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, in 2015 PortXL also has locations in Antwerp, Belgium and Singapore. Mammoet will provide specialist support to entrepreneurs and innovative thinkers, and hopes to benefit from the input and ideas that they might provide in return.

Vertikal Comment
This looks interesting and might just yield some very interesting results. However any operation that has to advertise and promote the fact that it is a 'disrupter' usually isn't. Those that truly disrupt and transform tend to think that they are simply doing business in a slightly different or novel way and simply get on with it.
This will be an interesting one to watch.... maybe....
