IMTs largest loader crane

US based loader and service crane manufacturer and distributor Iowa Mold Tooling (IMT) has launched the 42684 loader crane at the Gypsum Management Supply Expo in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The 42684 has a maximum load moment of 46.5 metre/tonnes and provides a radius of 25.2 metres. The new crane also features remote control, as well as IMTs Progressive Crane Control (PCC) which it says ensures smooth crane movement, helping improve operator efficiency, and Priority Flow Control (PFC) which optimises crane movements during operation of multiple functions.

The new crane also features the Electronic Vehicle Stability (EVS) system, which monitors the tilt angle of the truck’s chassis inputting the tilt angles, chassis flex and outrigger pressures into the fully integrated Rated Capacity Limiter (RCL) to maximise lifting capacities. IMT is the North American distributor for Danish loader crane manufacturer HMF, which supplies many of the larger IMT cranes on an OEM basis.
