Another Liebherr for McGovern

UK rental company McGovern Crane Hire has taken delivery of a 50 tonne Liebherr LTM 1050-3.1 All Terrain crane.

The LTM 1050-3.1 features a three section 38 metre main boom plus a nine to 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension. The crane is also equipped with Liebherr’s VarioBase outrigger setup system.

McGovern Crane Hire’s Kieran McGovern said: “The LTM 1050-3.1 wasn’t a stand out crane for us when we first started investing in Liebherr cranes. But once we took a look at the machine specification and had a chance to operate the machine ourselves in Ehingen, we were sold. The combination of a powerful boom, runner, searcher hook, fly and VarioBase really makes this machine the Swiss army knife of the fleet.”

Established in 1995, McGovern Crane Hire is headquartered in Nottingham, England and runs a fleet of cranes ranging from 13 to 250 tonnes.
