Raimondis for Turkey
Turkish crane sales and rental company Akem group has taken delivery of six Raimondi flat top tower cranes, five eight tonne MRT159s and an eight tonne MRT152.
All six cranes have been ordered for the Downtown Bursa development in the old city of Bursa, across the Sea of Marmara from Istanbul. The first crane to go up is one of the MRT159s, which has been erected with a free standing hook height of 48 metres. It will eventually climb to 98 metres with two tie in points. The remaining four will be erected with a 60 metre free standing hook heights, before climbing to 80 metres, while the MRT152 will also climb to 80 metres from an initial free standing height of 54 metres. All of the cranes will be equipped with 65 metre jibs. They will remain on site for between 20 and 24 months.
The Downtown Bursa project is run by Atış Construction, and when built will include 688 residences and 83,000 square metres of retail and entertainment facilities, hospitality outlets, an arts and culture centre, and the Pars City Museum.

Raimondi MRT159
Akem Group is also the Turkish dealer for Raimondi tower cranes. General manager H.
