Falcon for Russian shopping centre

Russia’s Oceania Shopping Mall has taken delivery of a 29 metre Falcon FS290 spider lift for cleaning and maintenance work.

The FS290 features a five section telescopic boom and dual arm articulated jib, providing 14 metres of outreach with an unrestricted platform capacity of 100kg, or around 13 metres with 200kg platform capacity. The FS290 can also work up to four metres below ground level. It will be used to clean and maintain the inside of the 137,000 square metre shopping centre in Moscow.

The FS290 is currently providing maintenance in the shopping centre

Falcon Lifts sales director Brian Falck Schmidt said: “No other machine could provide this type of manoeuvrability, to pass through the narrow doors of the building, and give an access to glazed walls of the aquarium.”
