Another Liebherr for Bigge

US based Bigge Crane and Rigging has taken delivery of a 400 tonne Liebherr LTM 1400-7.1 All Terrain crane.

The seven axle crane features a five section 60 metre main boom plus Y-Guy superlift system, and up to 84 metre luffing swingaway extension. It went straight out on a project to set up cooling towers atop Adobe Systems facility in San Jose, California. The company expects most demand from contractors installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, as well as industrial and refinery work.

Bigge’s new Liebherr LTM 1400-7.1

Vice president Joseph Nelms said: “We purchased the LTM 1400-7.1 because we are building the perfect fleet of cranes, and the LTM 1400-7.1 is the best 400 tonne class crane available today.”

Established in 1916, Bigge is headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area in San Leandro, California, with 15 locations throughout the USA. The company operates a fleet of 1,300 cranes - of which 90 are Liebherr - including All Terrains, Rough Terrains, crawler cranes, tower cranes, boom trucks, and carry deck cranes.
