Health & safety advisor for Mobile Mini

UK based portable accommodation and loader crane operator Mobile Mini has appointed Niki Benson as health and safety advisor.

Benson joins Mobile Mini from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), and has 16 years of experience in the industry. She will be managing the full health and safety operation for the southern region.

Benson said: “I gained my passion for health and safety in childhood as my mother worked for the HSE, so I have always had an awareness of risk and legislation. Having worked in both investigatory and advisory roles, and working on site, I have gained skills and experience not available in a classroom or office environment. My focus is to build on Mobile Mini’s already excellent safety record, and proactively promote a great health and safety culture within the company.”

“In 2019, the safety team will be undertaking some great projects, including training focused on workplace transport, noise and vibration, as well as coaching staff to manage and own their own safety.
