Paul Hunwick 1962 - 2019

We have just received the very sad news that Paul Hunwick, the owner of UK rental company RKP Access Platforms has died prematurely at the age of 56.

We understand that he passed away in hospital on the 9th August. He leaves behind son James, who owned and managed the business with him. The funeral was held on Friday 30th August.

Paul Hunwick was the son of the late Ronnie Hunwick, the brother of the late Keith Hunwick, who founded and ran the truck mounted rental company ES Access, in which several members of the Hunwick family worked, including Paul and James. After Keith passed away in 2008, the business continued but due to the way Kieth had managed the business, his wife Bernadette took over but it did not survive and was placed into administration in 2010. In 2011 Paul set up RKP with his son James - see RKP Access up and running - and has been building the business which offers truck mounted lifts to 38 metres along with van mounted lifts and some underbridge inspection units.
