Kalmar RTGs for Argentina
Exolgan container terminal in Buenos Aires has taken delivery of four Kalmar Rubber Tyred Gantry cranes.
Powered by hybrid diesel/Lithium-ion drivelines, the cranes are six plus one rows wide, one over five high and have a 40 tonne lifting capacity. Features include the company’s SmartRail automated gantry steering system and its SmartProfile anti collision system.
Alexandre Esse, Kalmar ports and terminals sales manager for the Americas, said: “Our hybrid RTGs are highly fuel efficient and they make no compromises on performance or sustainability. It is great to be able to continue our fruitful cooperation with Exolgan with this latest order, which further demonstrates the confidence that customers have in our hybrid technologies.”

The Exolgan container terminal in Buenos Aires
Owned by International Trade Logistics (ITL), Exolgan container terminal has ordered a further two Kalmar RTG cranes with delivery scheduled to take place towards the end of 2020.
