JLG has expanded its ClearSky Smart Fleet platform with three new features aimed at improving fleet management and equipment diagnostics.
The first addition is a Digital Analyser Reader which allows technicians to access and adjust machine parameters via mobile devices, replacing traditional handheld analysers. The system displays machine data and generates shareable diagnostic reports.

The company has also introduced Automatic Site Networks, which uses Bluetooth mesh technology to track equipment location and movement in real time. The system automatically integrates machines as they arrive on site and provides proximity based alerts.
A third feature, Elevation Based Localisation - said to be coming soon - uses barometric pressure sensors in ClearSky Smart Fleet beacons, it will help users locate equipment in multi story buildings by identifying whether a machine is above or below the user's position.
Director of product management, Ara Eckel said: "With JLG ClearSky Smart Fleet, we're not just helping our customers manage their equipment from a dot on a map; we've created an interactive platform that provides them with real-time, actionable insights that enhance their operational efficiency."
