Another crane brought down by wind
A tower crane jib came down in Frankfurt’s high winds over the weekend In addition to the one that failed in London.

The Frankfurt crane incident was very similar in that the wind took the jib over the back, it landed on the roof of the Frankfurt cathedral, causing some damage, although as with the one in London we understand that no one was hurt.

Some history about the Cathedral and it’s construction would make the story more interesting. An incident of this kind is sad for the preservation and care of such a beautiful structure.
