Manitou withdraws dividend

The directors of telehandler and aerial lift manufacturer Manitou have taken the decision to withdraw the previously planned €0.78 dividend in light of the Covid-19 crisis.

The dividend was originally announced in early March when it published its annual results, but much has changed since then. The board says that it may well call a shareholders meeting in October in order to reinstate some form of dividend. In the meantime the Annual General Meeting will go ahead on June 18th without the physical presence of shareholders, although they will have the opportunity to vote on issues by mail or appointing the chairman as their proxy, and will be able to pose questions by email.
