60t Grove handover
German crane rental company Könning Krane has taken delivery of a 60 tonne Grove GMK3060L All Terrain crane from local distributor KranAgentur Werner.
The three axle crane features a 48 metre six section main boom and an 8.7 to 15 metre bi-fold hydraulic luffing swingaway extension. Features include the company’s Crane Control System (CCS) as well as all wheel drive and steer, and a tier 4 diesel engine.
The company claims the GMK3060L is the most compact crane in the 60 tonne class, with an overall carrier length of 9.55 metres, a width of 2.55 metres and height of 3.64 metres with the suspension fully lowered.
Given the pandemic the world is facing currently, the handover of the crane was slightly different than usual:
Established in 1985, Könning Krane is based in the North Rhine-Westphalian town of Stadtlohn, north west Germany. The company’s fleet consists of All Terrain cranes, spider cranes, self-erecting tower cranes, city type cranes and aerial lifts.
