Mammoet tries 'bare lease'

Mammoet North America is to offer non-operated crawler crane rentals from its branch in Atlanta, Georgia.

The company has a fleet of 40 crawler cranes ranging in capacity from 90 to 272 tonnes (100-300 US tons) that it will offer for rent without operators – bare rental. The move is aimed at meeting a growing demand from local customers including construction companies, civil contractors, bridge contractors and pre-cast fabricators along the Eastern Seaboard, with a focus on Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, and West Virginia.

A Kobelco CKE1350 now available for bare rental from Mammoet

Randall Fox, business development director for commercial rentals, said: “We are pleased to offer these machines to our clients.
