Second 130t Liebherr for Bruns
German crane and transportation company Bruns Schwerlast has taken delivery of a second 130 tonne Liebherr LTM 1130-5.1 mobile crane, having purchased its first in 2008.
Replacing a 100 tonne LTM 1100-5.2, the five axle LTM 1130-5.1 features a 60 metre main boom plus a 33 metre lattice swingaway extension. The crane can also travel within 12 tonne axle loads with 6.6 tonnes of counterweight, extension and hook block.
Managing director Frank Bruns said: “We were looking for a flexible crane to fill the gap between our LTM 1100-4.2 and a five axle 220-tonne crane, as we have a high level of customer demand in this crane size. As we already had good experience with an LTM 1130-5.1, we opted for this model again.”
