Third AC 45 for Wasel

German crane rental company Wasel has taken delivery of a further two 45 tonne Demag AC 45 City cranes after taking delivery of its first unit earlier this year.

The AC 45 has a 31.2 metre main boom which can telescope loads of up to 25 tonnes, while a 7.1 to 13 metre offsettable extension takes the maximum tip height to over 45 metres. The crane’s IC-1 Plus control system with integrated Flex Base is able to monitor the outrigger set up and slew position to calculate a specific load chart for that precise position.

Wasel now has three Demag AC 45 City cranes in its fleet

Wasel owner, Matthias Wasel, said: “We already had several AC 40 City cranes in our fleet, and they proved their worth time and time again on countless projects. And their successor, the AC 45 City, is even better, as it can telescope up to 25 tonne loads – it’s really tough for the competition to match that kind of achievement!”
