Another Maeda for Bernard Hunter

Scottish rental company Bernard Hunter Mobile Cranes has taken a 2.8 tonne Maeda MK3053C spider crane, purchased through UK distributor Kranlyft.

The 2.8 tonne Maeda MK3053-C spider crane features a five section main boom with a three section telescopic jib for a maximum tip height of 16.95 metres at which point it can handle 50kg. It can also take it out to the maximum radius of 14.5 metres.It will be primarily used for glass installation work and projects in confined spaces.

Bernard Hunter managing director Mark Rafferty said: "Incorporating the MK3053C into our fleet aligns with our mission to provide versatile and efficient lifting solutions. Its advanced features will significantly enhance our operational capabilities, particularly in glass installations and projects with space constraints."

Established in 1946, Bernard Hunter is based in Edinburgh and runs a fleet of Maeda cranes and telehandlers up to a 700 tonne Liebherr All Terrain as well as offering in house operator training.
