100t Tadano for Carpin
Italian crane rental company Carpin Autogru has taken delivery of a 100 tonne Tadano ATF 100G-4 All Terrain crane.
The four axle ATF 100G-4 has a 51 metre main boom topped by an 18 metre bi-fold swingaway extension. Features include a second winch, remote controls and the company’s variable outrigger system. With an overall length of 13 metres and travel width of 2.75 metres, the crane was chosen to help navigate the Veneto region’s city centre alleyways and narrow mountain roads. The crane will be predominately used for assembling prefabricated industrial buildings.
Managing director Vittorino Carpin, said: “We made the decision to go for the 100 tonner as it’s particularly efficient and easy to use. And as if that were not enough, it also offers exceptional lifting capacity in spite of its compact dimensions.”
