Two eight axle Liebherrs for Wagenborg

Dutch based Wagenborg Nedlift has purchased a 450 tonne Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1 All Terrain crane and one of the new eight axle LTM 1650-8.1s which is now officially rated at 700 tonnes.

The LTM650 has an 80 metre main boom, with an option for the 54 metre boom to be converted to the 80. A 90 metre luffing jib is also available. The 450 will be delivered in December, while the LTM1650-8.1 is not due to arrive until sometime in the new year.

Both cranes are equipped with VarioBallast counterweights, VarioBase variable outrigger set up systems and ECOmode engine management system which helps reduce noise and fuel consumption.

The company says that it is responding to the growing demand for complex and heavy lifting work in the infrastructure sector and industry in the Benelux region and Germany.
