Terex RT dealer for Portugal

Terex Cranes has appointed Auto Mecânica Alvorgense (AMA) as its Rough Terrain crane distributor for Portugal, Capo Verde, São Tomé and Principe.

AMA was established in 1976 and operates as three divisions – Industrial, Agricultural and Parts. It has worked with the Terex group since 2006, having distributed Terex reach stackers, Terex backhoe loaders and Schaeff front end loaders along with Terex Demag All Terrains. It became an exclusive dealer for central Portugal in 2009 and the whole country in 2011.

The industrial division will handle the Terex RTs with responsibility for sales, marketing, maintenance, repair and replacement parts supply. It operates from four locations in Portugal, Ansião, Pombal, Soure and Leiria – all located around half way between Lisbon and Oporto.

Sales manager Carlos Gonçalves said: “One of the major assets of AMA´s commercial strategy is fulfil its clients necessities and requirements. The fact they already know our Rough Terrain cranes is also something which will facilitate the business on this area.”
